In 1977, a gift of farmland to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church became the catalyst that led to the development of St. John Parish Foundation.

The long-term financial stability of St. John Parish was the catalyst for the creation of the St. John Parish Foundation founded in 1977.
Now over forty years later, the Foundation continues to grow and help support the parish each year. This is the direct result of the generosity of parishioners and alumni, the success of a socially responsible investment philosophy, and a rising stock market. In 2001, the Teachers Endowment Fund was added to the Foundation to allow a donor to designate donations to go directly for the benefit of our dedicated teachers. In 2018, the Foundation has contributed more than $400,000 to the parish and its schools.
